A few more from the Mighty Coe.Fast Eddy

I can't post 'em all at once. Pretty busy around here today. Check back during the afternoon. It'll give you something to do.

I was most overjoyed about the present that Joe Steel brought for us, Parkmeister! Haven't heard from or seen the guy in too long. I got a lot of pictures of him since he was the only one in the group I could nearly keep up with.

Here he is, climbing out of the oaks on Lyman Wilson.
Way steeper than it looks.Fast Eddy

While viewing on the tv, my son said, "That doesn't look like a hill."

I was able to make it to about where Gary is in the picture before dismounting. I've never made the whole thing, wet, dry, hot or cold.
Which trail is this? (nm)SeanMc

Can you believe how a camera flattens hills out? That section of Lyman Wilson is REALLY steep, and although I've conquered many of the mighty hills in Coe, I've never been able to ride all the way up it. I usually get stuck in the same place as you described; it just gets a little steeper there.

...on this map. Fourarmcrank didn't want to try it, and mayhap I should have listened. It was almost half ridable.

Here's BV. I swear he's on the trail. If the MTBers caused as much damage as the pigs, I'm sure they'd arrange a hunting party.

Speaking of pigs, is that a pig tail coming out of his arse? Just wondering. ;)

Hope he did't take too much grief from his honey for being gone all day.

..."I don't mind you taking a whole day to ride. Next time, just let me know it's going to be a whole day, so I can plan accordingly.".

I can't disagree.

Regardless of any spousal reaction, that ride would have been totally worth it.

...I wore shorts, jersey and a vest, but the south end of Kelly Lake was frozen. Parkmeister was launching big rocks, but not having any luck breaking through. I couldn't get him to try to ride across though.

My buddy Eric is a distant buddy of Gregg and JCintheBA. We handed them a radio in the parking lot at the beginning. They climbed into the park a different way, and we rendezvoused 4 hours later via the wonders of frs.
