not a Tahoe ~VIDEO~(12 posts)

not a Tahoe ~VIDEO~daev

I didn't get enough footage to put together a Tahoe video (I'll just have to go back!), so instead I'll present this video of a great ride Paul J put together a while back (again, somewhere in northern calinoia - don't ask where). I think it's just over 30MB in size...

another $*!#$ dam video!

Oh, and I just found out yesterday I'm getting laid off, so hopefully I can do more rides and more videos this summer! (anyone in the Bay area planning a ride - feel free to give me an invite :)

Not the video, which I'll watch later today, but the layoff. Demoforest tonight at 6pm in the main parking lot?

Nice video. Too bad about the lay-off, but I was let go last October and have more or less enjoyed my time off (once I got used to having substantially less cash of course). I decided to go back to school for my MBA in the fall and I've just been enjoying myself riding whenever I want to.

well done! nmAdrian

...more riding time for you...sounds like a win-win to me!

Seriously, though. Sorry to hear 'bout the job.

Thanks for the great video, I thought the music added a certain "spiritual" feel to the already spiritual scenary.

Yo, Eddy, if you read this...you ridin' flats exclusively now or what?

(p.s. there is an IMBA/Romp ride at Montebello tonight at 5:30 at the upper lot. there will be a small MTBR contingency there.)

...wear out the bottoms of my airwalks in a pedal-shaped pattern.

This particular day I couldn't find the wrench in the truck to change them, and there wasn't so much climbing on that ride.

Up at Tahoe I rode some 636s which came in pretty handy. I'll probably start riding them all the time.
you musta jammed down those stairs...gregg

...I had been jamming for a while before the stairs, and once I got on them and couldn't see the end, I stopped to rest my hands right in the middle. I've still got some carpal tunnel and tendonitis, so I don't last too well with the 80mm fork on the rough stuff.

Hmmm . . . I've got some inlaws in NC with a spare room . . .
just so you don't get confused...daev

...this was nowhere near the state of NC (as in North Carolina). I think "Calinoia" is a term Fast Eddy made up (search function doesn't go back far enough to find the actual origin): Calinoia (n) - Paranoia that your favorite trail in California will be overrun by idiots after you post cool pictures of it on the web.

Glad you enjoyed it!
