Riding Wilder Ranch with Fast Eddy, Paul J, et alK-Zero

This Saturday I hooked up with Paul J, Fast Eddy, and his buddies for a sweat-pouring ride at Wilder. Despite having ridden in the park for years, I still had a lot of fun thanks to Paul J who lead us on the trails that I'm familiar with in reverse. It was amazing how different the trails look when going in opposite direction.I fell in love with the park all over again.

Here are couple of pics that I managed to take. Talk about variety of bikes.we had everything from homemade singlespeed to old school Trek with a rack.

I haven't been to Wilder in probably two or three years, but I don't remember logs like that. Where are they? I thought I had ridden every trail out there.

I know off the top of Eucalyptus, just past the Eucalyptus grove, there was an entrance for a little-known (and fairly overgrown) trail that had log crossings, but these were fallen trees, not purposely arranged bridges. Is that where this is?

...or "a whole lot of stupidity." My heart skipped a beat when he started to lean a little to the right near the end.

Derek finessing up the rock formation. Going down it was easy, but going back up it was another story.

We'll have to do that again.
Didn't get over to enchanted loop. Why/when was it closed? nmFast Eddy

Probably due to wetness, several months back. nmObi-John
