Sep 6, 2002 10:59 AM | | Had a great ride this morning with my wife. Found out what riding in the mountains is really like.
Started at the State Park and rode straight up for quite awhile, (actually had to walk some...ok a lot). Had a blast on the way down. Did this twice then did a easier ride with my wife.
Got packed up to go, (bikes back on the van) before I realized my cellphone was missing. Back up to the top I went - found the cell phone on the way up but figured I should try and make it to the top again.
Hope to try again tomorrow. |

Sep 6, 2002 11:20 AM | | Don't like climbing. They are a lot of fun too. You can find the trailhead at the north end of Bailey road just past Noppett Hill Farm. The XC trails are across rt. #7 through a culvert. The ski hill has some good stuff too. But that involves some climbing......jdcamb |
