However, there are couple of triathlon races coming up this month on OLN, if you're interested to watch.
Sept 18th - Ironman Canada - 2002 Iron Canada.
Sept 25th - Saucony Running & Racing - Damnon Duathlon & Seagate Triathlon.
I really admire people like you and Collen Anderson who would not let the cancer to stop you from doing what you've enjoyed the most.

Sep 8, 2002 3:48 PM | | for your kind words and passing on the other televised tri's. I'm in good shape now. I just celebrated my 5th year of finishing treatment so even the doctors say I'm cured :-) I admire anyone who takes time out of their lives to support things like research for cancer and other diseases. Without those people, I most likely wouldn't be alive today. This was my first year for triathlons, but I've been an avid cyclist most of my life. Not only has cancer not stopped me, it's made me really appreachiate the gifts I already have. |
