The Blowfish converts from the size of the Mule to the size of the Hawg with a zip.

I ripped a little hole in it on the ride though. That sucks.

Sep 26, 2002 7:55 AM

These piggys were in the pond on the left of Coit Road, just north of Coit Camp. This was at about 9:30.

To be fair, I've inspected that area myself. I've also still never cleaned this little section.

Sep 26, 2002 8:26 AM
Here's the group, on the road again after about a half-hour break at hq. Everyone restocked on water, but I don't think anyone took advantage of the power bars and powerade they sell there. This was about 11:30. The picture is facing southwest, with Gilroy in the valley in the background.

Stay tuned for Part II. nmFast Eddy

Sep 26, 2002 9:03 AM
I went to Gilroy for work a few years ago in December. Wanted so badly to get out and ride Coe, but was chained to work :-( Gilroy will be forever stamped in my mind as a hellhole because of it, but these pics almost changed that. I'll have to get out there sometime on vacation, I guess!

Thanks for the tour.

For the next Coe Epic you'll get 11,000ft of climbing within 70 miles. Bring your 65 degree head angle 35lb hucker along next time. Sorry no shuttles. Bring some good walking shoes.

On a note. Kyle,(the idiot you say that fell off his bike) is an exceptional SS'er. Feel free to join him and Francis on the infamous 3 loop Demo grunt.

Hooked on Phonics? I can help.
I'll bet $100 he couldn't make it.Fast Eddy

A month...LOLfourarm
Sep 26, 2002 12:45 PM
A month to train, that is laughable. The only way you are ever going to see Mississippi Lake
is from an airplane. Maybe you should spend the month learning to read and write.
I can read what you write an you understan what i wirte soChainslap
Sep 26, 2002 12:50 PM
shutup already. how much you bet on me getting to that stinkin lake?
You CAN get there...fourarm
Sep 26, 2002 1:11 PM
Maybe you can get there, I don't really care. But you will never pedal back
to Hunting Hollow under your own power.

Pick a hot day for your adventure and plan on staying the night out there.

Good thing you didn't put any money on that. Things are not always the way they seem.

Hope to ride that Coe ride with you and Paul J once I'm 100% recovered from my injury.

Fast Eddy will owe me $100 when we are done.
I stand by it...fourarm
Sep 26, 2002 2:15 PM
I stand by my statment. After witnessing your bonk at Tahoe I think you will
be camping at Miss. lake. The thing about Coe is that there is never an easy
way back to the car and PaulJ and I will not be donating any Gu to the BV
charitable trust this time.

Ex-semipro DHer from Belmont?

If not nevermind.

Two things. If you ride to Mississippi and back by yourself---fine. As for the next Coe Epic, There is a pace to be met. Anyone can do the ride if they take all day. This ride will be done at a certain pace. Can't hang?...........Then don't bother. I ain't waiting all f#cken day.
Paul J = A little slow? Read Fourarm's post carefully. nmFast Eddy
