Everyone restocked on water, but I don't think anyone took advantage of the power bars and powerade they sell there. This was about 11:30. The picture is facing southwest, with Gilroy in the valley in the background.

Wanted so badly to get out and ride Coe, but was chained to work :-( Gilroy will be forever stamped in my mind as a hellhole because of it, but these pics almost changed that. I'll have to get out there sometime on vacation, I guess!

Two things. If you ride to Mississippi and back by yourself---fine. As for the next Coe Epic, There is a pace to be met. Anyone can do the ride if they take all day. This ride will be done at a certain pace. Can't hang?...........Then don't bother. I ain't waiting all f#cken day. |
