Last week's Annadel ride and some misc. shots - Part I(8 posts)

Last week's Annadel ride and some misc. shots - Part Iwg

After a week of chaos and mayhem on the work and home front, I finally had a bit of time to sort thru some pics and size them up for posting.

So,

These first is just a random shot from a Rockville outing about 2 weeks ago. Went by myself to explore. Took just one pic. The rest of the day had a great time buzzing around some wet, fun trail and hooking up with a few other friendly folks.

Part of the reason I love this sport. You can meet someone and just ride, regardless of bike etc. The first gent rode a nice hardtail, a Vodoo (I think). The next group of riders was more of a downhill style (Giant Downhill and a Bullet).

This is the one shot I took that day. Just pointed across to another ridge. Not sure who the rider was but thought it just looked nice.

When I got home that day this guy was looking into my daughter's window. He's a local. Usually hangs out next door though.

The following weekend went to Annadel.

Hooked up with Moshika, JRM, Fast Eddy and Mike? (sorry if that's wrong) Met at the Parkside entrance and had as much fun as the last time I was there. I need a map so I remember the trail names better.

Annadel is just a great place. Lots of single track spread over a wonderful, scenic park. The hikers and equestrians we met were all friendly. Not a disturbed one in the bunch.

So, the pics.

Here's JRM coming thru the trails on a typical section

Some good mud bogs were found. Here's Moshika just after one.

You can see the reflection of it behind JRM here. It got hub deep if you missed the line.

This is just a neat trail shots twisting thru the trees.

At a rest stop on the Sonoma side of the ridge. Nice view of the Mt Diablo silhouette

Turning the other way, these guys were the view. Moshika-JRM-FE-Mike. I think Diablo is more scenic.

JRM finds "it"

Nice crossing by Fast Eddy. BTW, That's not a dab. Just poor camera work.

All in all a wonderful day

Cheers.
