Just bring the single!silversurfer

You're a bigger stud than either Pauly B or myself, and we single it all over. Bring the boa too!

If you want to bring a second bike you might want to ask Joe. I think he's got room for another bike.

See ya in a few days,

All the cool kids are doing it. They're letting me ride mine, too; hope they don't give me a wedgie for trying to be cool, too.

to not shred another seat during tranpsort, I'd be happy to take an extra bike along for you. Call me here at work (5-4844) or at home if you want.

I rode it this morning...Fast Eddy
Mar 10, 2003 3:28 PM

...it climbs ok. The front end is about an inch higher. It is much squishier than with the rigid fork, and probably a little faster downhill.

Batman42 and I rode the Middle Ridge loop at Coe this morning. Sweet, sweet, sweet. Way better than working...
Are you going to ride it locked out all the time so you can...Biking Viking
Mar 10, 2003 3:29 PM
...stil claim you rode AZSF on a fully rigid SS?

No lockout. I'm just going to have to suffer...Fast Eddy

...with all the rest of you suspended old ladies.

That bag of stuff you sent blended into my garage mess so perfectly that we nearly forgot it. Would you have been happy, or what?
I wouldn't have cared since it'd be you who would deal with...Biking Viking
Mar 10, 2003 3:35 PM
...the hassle of bringing the stuff on the plane. And I would not have bothered to tell you that there's a Big Air CO2 cartridge in that CamelBak.

If I didn't notice it today, I wouldn't have noticed at all. nmFast Eddy

I like how the temporary fork matches the cranks. You just might decide to leave it on there! :)

Hope you, Battman42, and the others have fun at AZSF!

Brian
I have two sets of cranks.Fast Eddy
Mar 10, 2003 3:40 PM
I never used the red ones before, since they didn't match anything. While they're off, I think I'll send the other set to RaceFace and try to get them replaced. They're bent from too much urban riding.

do you have another bike you can bring? or another fork to install?

I was working on a bike this morning with the same irritating bb problem. old, plastic bb shells are a baaaaad idea.
I found...Fast Eddy
Mar 10, 2003 3:30 PM

...another plastic adjuster cup in the garage, but it's not exactly the same. When completely tight, there are a few threads sticking out of the end of the bb shell. We did a pretty big ride this am, and it seems to work fine.
If you need another BB adjuster...Lucky

I might have one lying around. E-me at kts3@columbia.edu. Have fun in AZ! This will be the first year I've missed Spring Fling. :-(

I'm hoping to get out on the bike this weekend for the first time since last July 31st. Technical mtbiking is probably a couple months away.
