At long last, the full (small size) G.I.T.A. ~VIDEO~glenzx

Well, the mother-in-law is gone (our office is also the guest room...)and I finally had the chance to edit the GITA footage I had shot on the South Boundary Trail group ride we did. It's in QuickTime format, as all I have is iMovie to work with, so it's not the smoothest or slickest video around, and it's long-ish at about nine and a half minutes. It took a long time to load here at my office with a low-end DSL line and my server is bandwidth seems pretty slow, so click the link and take the dog out for a walk or get a snack or whatever while it loads. It's aprx 50mb and that's at the lowest resolution I could export it at! Which explains why the sound is kinda whacky too, as the music seems to have exported louder than the background noise on the tape compared with the full quality version I have on tape....

Anyhow, be patient with my server, as last time I posted video, I think they got bombarded and folks were getting error messages. But it is on there and works OK!

Oh, and as a side note, the music (in order) is Jimmy Rodgers, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion and The Beasties...

Didn't take TOO long to download - but your server may not be feeling the full brunt of MTBR yet 8*)!

Well done. Entertaining and captures some of that days ride well (especially since you have no "on bike" footage).

Thanks

If anyone does want a high res CD version, lemme know! I'd be happy to burn some copies and send 'em out, as CD's cost all of .50 cents to mail. I can also make VHS copies right from the camera with the editing and all.... might cost a buck or two to mail, but if anyone wanted, I'll do that too, just send me a tape or a coupla' bux!
