So, I'm back from Afghanistan...never go to that country if you can avoid it...

So my next posting will be Costa Rica....I hear there's good riding, I was thinking about buy a Full Suspension bike just for the move?? We'll see, I need a car first ;)

It's good to see you're doing well. My brother came back from Iraq just last summer, and I have friends in the Guard headed to the region in Feb also.



Hey, does that LBS offer discounts on the new SRAM stuff? Trying to look for a deep discount on an X.0 R/D. :p

I'm gonna skip, or glaze over the safety issue you faced and always face in you world travels...BUT, your opportunity to see the world from-the-seat-of-your pants perspective is so rewarding. Trying as I do to make heads or tails of the world from the newspapers, news mags and TV is about impossible. You get to see the *real* people and the *real* everyday s?i† they are dealt. That is pure gold and will give you a first class education on the *real* world that I can only imagine.



For that alone I say; You are one lucky gal! May you always arrive home safely.
