Go to this link to see another weird (or is it cool?) tandem. Who would have thought I'd ever see two sand/snow tandems in a week's time. Maybe that ebay auction for the Ventana/Hannebrink is legit!

a little bit one day; it's kinda fun.

I suspect the small wheels will be more limiting than liberating, though. It's great if all you're going to do is ride on the beach, but any obstacle is greatly magnified with the small diameter wheel. The same is true of our 20 inch wheeled Burro Bike; rocks and roots that I'd never give a second thought on 26 inch wheels stop me abruptly (and unexpectedly) often yielding various levels of unpleasantness. Now I'm into the 29 inch wheel deal.

That's a cool machine, it's nice to see what guys with talent can build, anyway!

the tire casing is about 4 inches high and the tire is 6" wide with about 4psi of pressure. It'll roll up over curbs if you have a decent gear.
Sure it is.AK Ken

At least in my experience (including lots of low pressure ATV tires, tractor tires, hydro ax tires, et cetera) the taller tire always has the best luck climbing over an obstacle.
