thankful for years of bike-related passion [o]SWISS

Bike-related things I'm thankful for today!!

Riding Flat Pass with Ian and Corkery in 2001...

The hugenormous group we had in Moab in May 2001!

Taking a breather whist riding with the "fast guys" on Porcupine Rim...

Being a smilin' fool at the top of Devil's Slide in June of 2001....

My very first singlespeed ride in 2001...

...and then taking the SS Frankenbike on its first road trip 2 weeks later to ride Baldy in Sun Valley...

Riding in the Sawtooths with p*, Wojah, and the Uniballer

Racing the White Knob Challenge on my 31st birthday in 2001...

Finishing up rides at Camelsback to see the sun setting over the city...

...and then going to Lucky 13 for beers, pizza and BS.

Learning that steel is indeed real with my Gunnar in '01

Road tripping to Tahoe to ride the Rim Trail with the Northern Cali crew over Labor Day weekend in 2001...

Discovering the joy of winter biking on Superbowl Sunday in 2002....

...and then discovering the joy of owning and riding a full squish in April of 2003

Road tripping to Moab again and riding Amasa Back with "8 Mile" in March 2003

Riding Porcupine Rim on a 70 degree day in March...

Sharing post-ride brews with Sliney, Smith and Wojah at the best place in town to have post-ride brews...

An Easter morning ride with Wojah and the Uniballer this past spring...

My obligatory 1 ride a year with "Pedro" (who never fails to abuse me)

Rediscovering the joy of riding a rigid bike this past April...

...and last but not least, riding with new friends and old on Red Warrior Creek trail in Hailey this past summer!

Of course, I'm thankful for many, many, many other things (good health, my wife and son, having job and a roof over my head), but biking is just that icing on the cake, that cherry on top, that gravy on the turkey!! How about YOU?

different names/places/faces, but I'm thankful for pretty much the same stuff!

Everyone have a good holiday, whether celebrating it or not!
