Nov 28, 2003 11:48 AM | | Rode part of it today. First time at S. Mtn. Haven't gotten on the bike in a week and a half or so, and I've been "celebrating the holidays" pretty good in that time frame. This trail was a perfect warm up with some sweet little whoop-dee-doos and a couple nice little jumps/drops. I rode it fast the entire time and even the unfamiliarity wasn't a hindrance- made it interesting a couple times but that's a trail you could fly on if you know it well... National probably had a million people on it; there were hundreds of cars, but DC wasn't too bad. I'll ride National before long. Nice trails down there.

Nov 28, 2003 8:01 PM | | Definitely good fun! It helped to burn off some turkey and pumpkin pie! What time where you out there, we were out at about 1:30 - 3:30. It is pretty heavy traffic before the water tank though and after that it is tons of fun. I'll post some pics for ya
