|   Singlespeed Sighting - Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals | crew
Oct 29, 2001 9:38 PM | | Witnessed some guy in the sport division riding a single at the biggest collegiate race of the year. Much respect as the course entailed over 1,000 feet of climbing per 7 mile lap. I couldn't tell what the bike was because the melting snow was making the course resemble lots-o-puddin'. I talked to him a little bit afterwards, and all he could say was "NEVER AGAIN!".
Pretty cool to see it at such a huge race. He placed well, btw...top 20 maybe? |
