| Cook bros. crank question | seattletim Feb 18, 2002 10:00 AM | | Hey, Anyone know what size spindle the old Cook Brothers cranks should be run with?
I found a pair of anodized blue ones at the Seattle bike swap over the weekend and am going to put them on my Curtlo.
I'll probably just leave the 113 spindle in there and see what happens, but thought maybe someone is an expert on the subject....
Thanks!

| blue on blue? | DAS Feb 18, 2002 7:02 PM | | That's a lot of blue man, next thing you know the headset will be blue, the bars, the cables, the disc brakes....OH! sorry, you don't have discs. OUCH. |
| yeah, can I borrow your rear tire? | seattletim Feb 18, 2002 7:11 PM | | Ha ha!
or maybe I need to buy the blue boazobeana's by Nokian.....
I just wanted the Cooks, didn't care what color. Rumor has it that Easy Off oven cleaner will take the anodizing off, but I don't care a whole lot.
FYI, I am putting a hope mini (hydraulic, even!) front disc on the Heckler you rode, dave! It'll be my wet weather ride....
It was shorts weather in Seattle today.... put in two hours on the road! Windbreaker, though, of course. I know you can't wait to get up here, huh?
