looking to build CHEAP SS... need input pleasescreenwriter

After seeing the link to the $19.99 K2 frame in an earlier thread I've decided to make the leap... The same web site has a set of Weinman ZAC wheels for $49.99.

So, my question is whether or not these wheels can be succesfully used in building up a singlespeed drive train?

The dropout spacing on the frame is not specified but I assume that it is standard multi-speed MTB width.

Thanks for taking time to answer my questions.

get the wheels and then you have two options, use spacers and one cog or pick up a surly hub adapter, it takes the freewheel off and you put in a bolt on axle with a thread adapter like a standard ss hub, check it out at www.surlybikes.com "the fixxer"
