Using SS bolt on hub on Breezer (vertical) dropouts(3 posts)

Using SS bolt on hub on Breezer (vertical) dropoutsEWR

In my search for a new set of wheels, I have thought about getting a Paul SS hub. My bike has vertical dropouts on it, is there any reason this would cause a problem with the bolt on hub (instead of a QR)?

I have considered having the frame cut and horizontal droupouts installed but I am not sure if I want to do it or not.
some bolts are too bigDAS

I recently tried to use some large track nuts from Phil Wood on Breezer Vertical drops. They just don't fit. I switched to a smaller bolt. It works fine since they are snug in the vertical drop.

I've used those large track nuts on horizontal drops, I think they were sub 11s, and they do not move. So beefy and strong.

Just checking, have you thought about chain tension? You mentioned vertical drops...
Currently using a Paul tensioner, that is why I want...EWR

horizontal dropouts. The tensioner worls great but it just doesn't look as clean as a "real" singlespeed.
