Apr 16, 2002 5:50 PM | | Here's is another way to use vertical drops with out the tensioners...Rohloff makes a drop out(vertical)with horizontal adjustment...Now you will be able to use your singlespeed hub as well as the speedhub...rohloffusa.com in the technical section of the site..Oh, and the drop outs come in different types, for disc mount and for a "derailer" or with out..These are what I am waiting for so I can get the custom frame made up for use with the speedhub...should be a sweet ride when done..Vern |

Apr 16, 2002 6:48 PM | | If I were to build a bike for the Rohloff hub I'd get vertical drops with an eccentric bottom bracket and use the disc brake tab to mount the mini torque arm. After fiddling with horizontal drops and centering wheels and adjusting brakes, I'd much rather have the convenience of verts.
