| Dude, that's right up my alley! | Pablo Sep 13, 2002 9:56 AM | | How does 50 mg of caffeine compare to the triple espresso I just had? (I'm more into the art side of coffee than the science side). Is the Clif bar super high octane, or did you just combine it with some java for a higher-than usual dose of the good stuff?
I am such a caf junkie, I can barely function without it any more... |
| I don't even drink coffee | ernesto Sep 13, 2002 10:30 AM | | Na! I don't drink coffee. I didn't think this bar had so much caffeine packed in it. I couldn't speak my $12 college words correctly. |
| I think 50mg is about 1 espresso shot, much less than coffee (nm | Hollywood Sep 13, 2002 3:50 PM | | |

| I love 'em. | fonseca Sep 13, 2002 10:08 PM | | Actually, I like all of the ice series. I used to think clif carrot cake and cranberry apple cherry were the best energy bars around, until I tried the ice series. They are now my current favorite energy bars. The orange is good, the mint is better, and the java is what I go for when riding in the morning, or often instead of breakfast if I am running late. They are rich-tasting but not the kind of sugary-sweet I can't stand during a ride. I also like the new power bar pria bars as a snack, or if I am hungry after a ride. And they are dirt cheap at costco. |
