| He's right. It IS a Matt Chester problem... | D.F.L. Feb 3, 2003 10:40 PM | | ...the problem seems to be that Terminaut didn't go to Matt Chester in the first place.
But he did inspire me to plan a Quadangle of my own. Someone on EBAY is selling a color copy of the original drawings for the looptail Quad ( am I drooling?)
If You're listening, Terminaut, you might want to contact Texas Fireman's Cruizer. Apparently, he's working with Scott Breithaupt to build his frames. What could be better than a Quad cruizer built by the O.M. hisself?
Wes Williams is creepy. |
| FYI --- SE is back in business, and the Quad is available again. | Mackie Feb 4, 2003 9:11 AM | | But you may have already known that. 20 inch BMX, at 32 years old.... people would laugh at me....at least that's what my wife says, as she tries to keep me from buying one.... |
| Partially... | terminaut Feb 4, 2003 9:33 AM | | Surprisingly, I received a letter in the mail last week from Wes saying that he couldn't get the (titanium) tubing needed and that he'd rather not build this "silly" project anyways. He also included a check for half of my deposit and promised that he would refund the rest of it when he's able to. It seems like there may be an OK ending down the road. |
| Doh! ...as the other posters stated - it's Wes, not Matt (nm) | terminaut Feb 4, 2003 9:36 AM | | |
| Half your deposit? THAT is scary.... you must be a very... | Padre Feb 4, 2003 10:01 AM | | patient guy.
I also surf as well as ride. My surfboard shaper once took 4 months to finish a board I'd given him a deposit on. I thought I was going to go insane! Good luck.

| Partially...? | maun Feb 4, 2003 10:04 AM | | So he takes your check, cashes it, doesn't purchase the tubing but can only give you half of your deposit back? Sounds like Wes has more problems than just finding titanium tubing.
For your sake, I hope his cash flow goes positive by the spring. |
| is Wes a public offical or what. I bet a Democrat.... common Wes | Real Important Feb 4, 2003 11:53 AM | | PAY TERM THE CASH!!!!! |
| I was thinking "creative" def-not silly?? | JAK Feb 4, 2003 4:00 PM | | good luck gettin' er done! |
