anyone know the weight on a 17" Redline Monocog frame?? $115 at jensonusa is too good to pass up unless the frame is a tank!

Rumor has it over 6lbs, too much in my opinion. Buy a Surly its worth the exta $.
just keep in mind the 110mm rear dropout width.blucruz

It's not a standard 135mm mountain bike axle width.
It's a tank, but it will make you tougher...GA-SS

My 19" was 6.5lbs, but built as you see here with Rhynolites it was about 24lbs. I think the fork was right at 3lbs so swapping to a suspension fork will be no weight penalty. The frame is heafty but you can trust it to hold up and you'll be a stronger rider. As far as the 110mm rear spacing, it's kinda nice and simple, plus you can use a cool BMX hub. If it being $115 will get you into single speed - go for it!
