| I have a ad in the MTBR Classifieds.... | Fett Sep 23, 2003 11:03 AM | | When are you going to have Headshock top caps? I need one for my Merlin. |
| Headshock caps.... | Fast Freddy Sep 23, 2003 11:13 AM | | If you can get one from clc concepts I can probably get it etched for you.... clc concepts makes replacement aluminum caps for the Headshoks... I got my Dad one a while back but his is plain black... He just has a P-bone so it looked like a simple cap.... What does the cap you need look like? Does it operate the fork lockout? I don't have any headshok stuff around anymore... my Dad's P-bone is the only thing...
Basically if you can get a plain black anodized one from CLC Concepts we should be in business.... (FYI - My Dad's took almost 6 months to get from them - after many months of it's shipping today, it fianlly arrived.)
Let me know....

| I was only kidding, but now you have me thinking | Fett Sep 23, 2003 11:16 AM | | The one problem is that I have the top cap that has sort of lever on it rather than just a round cap, as it it much easier to activate the lockout quickly with it. I will think about it. |
| We'll figure it out! | Fast Freddy Sep 23, 2003 11:49 AM | | I've seen the lever/caps like your describing - I'm sure someone is making them out of black anodized aluminum...
If you can find a pic of one (before you buy it) - I'll email my friend and see if the can tell if it possible from the pic...
We got to get one on that ride!

| Where in Kansas? | DanO Sep 23, 2003 9:40 AM | | I'm in Manhattan. |
| Where in Kansas? | DanO Sep 23, 2003 11:02 AM | | Cool. I got an ex-wife there. Small world. I'm going to be speaking at a conference down there on Thursday, October 3 and I'm coming in the day before or, possibly, Tuesday night. You gonna be around then? Up for a ride?

| Don't do it!!! | Ken in KC. Sep 23, 2003 11:39 AM | | Dan's weird...
Hey Dan, are you interested in going down to the Berryman with us for some riding?
Ken
P.S. I will be in Comanche County on November 12. Perhaps we could meet and ride as well? |
| I'm wierd??? | DanO Sep 23, 2003 12:55 PM | | Um, looked at Comanche County on the map and it is just a white square except for this one dried up river. I think there are two roads maybe? Where were you planning to ride? I don't think I want to meander through endless fields of sunflowers with you. BUT, there are some incredible trails around Winfield, KS to the east and I would be willing to travel to ride those. Nice folks around there too.
When is Berryman? I remember considering it but then put it out of mind b/c I couldn't go (Think it is during a wedding I'm in -stupid people in love!) |
