| Ti 700c forks? | tamjam Nov 12, 2003 12:19 PM | | So I was watching this auction on ebay for a Morati 700c cross fork that went for $361 (yikes!) and started thinking who else might make a cross/29er Ti fork and thought about Spicer. I don't see any on the Spicer website though. I prefer the idea of a Ti fork over Carbon for offroad use. Anybody ever seen one besides a Morati?

| Shirley you must be joking | DAS Nov 12, 2003 12:39 PM | | What's up, dude?
Still in school. Still not riding. At least I got some beerpong in yesterday. Tuesday beerpong. That's something you can't do in the real world. I've been riding fixie 30 milers which is good fun. The shoulder is feeling stronger so I might try a girly mtn bike ride soon. I still haven't built up the TET again. She's all red and sparkly.
You gotta go steel fork on the XC! Marin County representin'! Ti fork? Pahleese!
Hello to the family. Is Pete still riding a ton?
Oh yeah, I'll be in SF around XMAS, maybe we can ride.
I miss D-ville. |

I think you can buy them here.

| re: Ti 700c forks? | Giantxc Nov 12, 2003 12:52 PM | | Saw a review in Bike Mag a while back for a ti 29'er w/ a triple top tube (which is why I remember) which noted that the company had a ti 29" rigid fork for around $200. OX brand maybe? |
| hmm, Ox Brand. My LBS sells their stuff. | tamjam Nov 12, 2003 1:16 PM | | |

| re: Ti 700c forks? | Skatepark Nov 12, 2003 1:18 PM | | Any 26" Sus-correct fork will fit even the biggest 70c tire, including 29"ers. In order to make V's or cantis work, however, you will need this
http://www.paulcomp.com/frmbk.html
It is a Paul brake that adapts 26" forks and frames to 700c wheels and will not require a travel agent or new levers. It works with road levers. The price and availability of 26" Ti forks will save you enough to afford the cool brakes.
