Chameleon SS(4 posts)

Chameleon SSHONG KONG PHUEY

What would be the best options/parts (rear hub + crank) to convert a geared Chameleon to SS?
Anything that fits the bill. -nm-SDizzle

I have a Surly rear hub and went with the Profile cranks. Not light but way stout.

I'm going for the Surly rear hub laced to a 517. For the crank gonna use the existing XT with a raceface 4 bolt bashguard to replace the big ring.
Questions - If I ditch the granny ring do I need to replace it with anything? Dropouts look kind of shallow on the Chameleon, any problem to use a chain tug to tension to chain. If so which will fit best?
