| No QR for Novatech? | aka brad Jan 13, 2004 6:47 AM | | I decided to swap out my rear Surly hub (with AL disc adapter) with a Novatech SS disc hub; quite the boat anchor but looks it will do the job. Only problem is I was hoping the axle was Shimano standard (10mm) for a QR but it's proprietary. Any know if there is a QR axle out there for a Novatech hub?

| I guess the question is, did Brant invent one? 8^) nm | eelpie Jan 13, 2004 8:00 AM | | nm |

There was one other guy here that actually made his QR, meaning he drilled it out, you could search the archive for his post, personally drilling that special axle seems like way too much hassle, 32seventeen thought so for now as well. Good luck, if you find a QR solution, I am sure that there others here that would appreciate a heads up on the QRness.

I see that Novatec makes several freehub style hubs w/ QR's so hopefully one of the axles will fit Brant's hub.
