a friend had a GIMP...papawheeliedon

A buddy of mine had a Gimp frame set up as a (SS) dirt jumper with a Marzocchi DJ1 and an Avid mech disc. I only rode it once a short distance so I never got used to it but he could rip big-time on it. I replied not to say that but to tell you that the weld quality and general appearence of constuction were top notch. You could easily see the attention to detail and appreciate the finish. The gussets looked cool, the whole frame design was innovative and unique. And I remeber the cost was resonable. I'd say that if the inbred frame you're interested in suits your needs and fits you then go for it. On One offers quality and value.

Here in rocky old Hong Kong my Inbred has withstood everything I can throw at it and more. Sweet steel ride, comfy as can be, great feel. Really no complaints. Enjoyed the switch to SS so much that my geared Chameleon is being stripped down to SS - since getting the Inbred I rarely use it. Only bad thing I have is the Truativ Crank which I would steer clear of. Crank arm on the non drive side continually comes loose. My solution is threadlock, but even then still comes loose after a couple of rides.
Inbred's are excellent...Spudmeister

I LOVE mine. They're easy folks to deal with, too.

Forget the suspension fork - get the rigid & run some fat ol' tires.

The Inbred is just such a clean looking bike when set up rigid like that - sweet build, friend. Its on my short list of frames to think about if and when my Kaboom dies.

well-built, strong, ride is plush, handles great, was chee-eep (bought mine before the # started kickin' the sh!t out of the $), and Brant has provided top-notch and fast customer service like no one else in the industry (save maybe Nick at Surly).

Just one great big happy experience! Can't go wrong with On-One.

Excellent bikes. I own a SS and a geared Inbred. Brant is an awesome guy and fun to deal with. If you want to read a lot about the Inbred you can check out http://www.singletrackworld.com. Do a search for Inbred...heheh!

I might even buy another On-One bike when funds permit...(don't tell my wife that though)

Lovely bikes. This is my 853 Inbred with a re-spray. Customer service second to none.

i'll ditto all of that.
brant really did a good thing when he designed the inbred.
he's been riding for so long that he knows what make a good bike and what makes a bad one, too.

mine's been pounded for 2 years now, commuted one nearly everyday too, RC-31's on the front, nice.

i am actually going to sell it soon though, mainly because having done the horizontal dropout thing for 8 years now, i just want to have a bit more security with my rear wheel...so i'm going to get an ebb one :)

(ideally i'd get the tin-bred but we need to buy a new house:)

check many many happy customers there and piccies.....
