| Non issue--you gotta do it.. | FtHoodMtBkr Sep 10, 2001 9:49 AM | | ..I live 80+ mi from RockyHill so I don't get their but 4 or 5 times a year--but it is one of the best courses in Texas--that and the food in the saloon clinches it. They even have a few showers but nothing
great--gets the job done.
Beth if you have the opportunity, go--you're going to love it.
Niterider will be there to keep lighting charged.

| if you can spare the money...go | JC1x1 Sep 10, 2001 11:15 AM | | it is well worth it. It is a great place to ride, and is a very well run race. The trails will be in great shape, but won't be groomed smooth and free of rocks, just maintained well. From what I have heard, Niterider support at races ranges from excellent to pathetic, so being self supporting can be a big plus (general rule for 24 hour events anyway) I don't know if Southwest Airlines flys as far North as Seattle, but is one of the better airlines (IMO) and runs direct to lots of places that others hop skip and jump to (especially in TX) And they are running lots of internet specials at the moment. |
| hmm, original post vanished... | Howard Roark Sep 10, 2001 11:51 AM | | RHR is a great trail, lots of variety. I have never raced there, but i've had some awesome day-long adventures out there. An added bonus are the tasty burgers and cold Shiners in the saloon.
