My fiance is 5'10" and she fit pretty well on the small frame. She is long in the legs and short in the torso though. For someone as small as your girlfriend, I would suggest looking at the WSD women's specific frame. Did she try riding the small mens frame? How stretched out did she look?

and is a good fit on 14" LTS which is I think about 15.5 or 16" normally. Corny but....did you look at www.coloradocyclist.com/bikefit/, or can you get her to sit on frame of choice? good luck., Jim

well I'm 5'1" and I got on the M size and it was just a bit too big. BUt not huge....so for her it may be great...they also make a WSD version of that bike (fuel 90) and it starts at 14in. maybe too small.
