Sep 10, 2001 2:45 PM | | Musiccity's Morpheus! It's grown into the largest network - number of users, number of files, GB - of all the post-Napster programs. KaZaA is the same network, VERY similar interface, but Morpheus doesn't have the spyware that KaZaA has.
And you can get ANYTHING on it - mp3, movies, programs. You can download just about any currently-in-release movie. I got photoshop 6 using Morpheus.
The best thing about Morpheus/KaZaA is that it has the FASTEST downloads. When you download a file, their technology downloads peices of it simultaneously from several different sources, so you get speeds several times faster than Napster was or other networks. |

Sep 10, 2001 4:06 PM | | A while back, I heard about Morpheus from a friend. I downloaded the program, then downloaded an mp3. However, when I went to play the mp3, it doesn't work. It seems that my default player (?) does not recognize the Morpheus file. When I had Napster, Winamp was my default player. I'm not too savvy as far as this stuff goes, so good help is greatly appreciated.
