So, who likes the NEW passion better?OT Boy

We've had the new passion for a week or so, who likes it more than the old. For some reason, it doesnt feel as...comfortable...as the old passion. Weird. Kinda like that Seinfeld episode where Jerry gets his kitchen remodeled, and it makes everybody uncomfortable because they were so used to the old.
I prefer the new one.....celly

nothing worse than living in the past.

Once Gregg and co get the kinks out, and introduce the fll-fledged version of the "new and improved" Passion, I'm sure there will be far less bitching about mtbr's new format. Remember, we're still running on a "beta", here.

Mostly because there isn't so much backtracking through the posts. I can read one thread and jump to the next one within the same thread with out backtracking through the thread. It's just faster for me and that's always a good thing.

Other than that it looks pretty similar to the old site.
Seems to be much easier to read the posts.JRinCA

Meaning I don't have to multi-click each picture. Great since the pics load fast on my system. I can see where it would be difficult to use the view all with a dial up connection with multiple pics.

I like that we had to register our information in order to post.
I like it...bones

It's more user friendly I think. There's so much negative stuff going up lately, the mood of passion has been a bit off. Maybe that's what your feeling.

I agree with Celly, once the full-fledged version goes up, it'll be better.

Think of it as mastering a new domain,

much easier to read long threads. now i actually will read them.

before if there were more then a half dozen posts i wouldn't really read them. too much work to keep backtracking in and out to read everything. now 1 click and i get it all.
The New one is better.brianc

Sure there are some groing pains. I like I keep forgeting to hit Post message, when the edit post option comes up. that feature alone makes the new foramt worth while.

The only bad thing is all the fallout. But that will pass. The feel of this place will return just like the same old polls.

I like how I can view all of the posts at once.

What I HATE is how I am unable to retrieve archived posts.

I especially like the ability to print out a post and all the replys at once. However, the content seems to have taken a nose dive. Quality and quantity of submissions is way down.

Number of hits a submission gets is intereting. Pictures and Denise get many, many more hits then straight articles. Seems people like comic books over literature.
