I have an XL GT I Drive 1.0 and I pack and fly my bike all the time in an Trico Ironhorse Case. I used to have a triple crown downhill fork on the bike and all I had to do to make it fit was slide the tubes up in the crowns to make the overall height less.

With all this said if the Crateworks has anything close to the dimensions of my case you should not have a problem.

Plan on taking the wheels off, skewers out, handle bars o (and stem) off, and I always take the rear derailuer off (hanger too). Make sure you put a piece of all-thread with nuts to keep the forks and rear triangle properly spaced.

Buy something that lasts you can always post a notice a your local bike shops and rent it out!

Don't let the airlines try to screw you. If the case is under 60" long and under 70lbs they can't charge you an oversize bagage charge.
