looking for I-Drive rear triangle(4 posts)

looking for I-Drive rear trianglewarthog

Is anyone out there stuck with a broken I-Drive front triangle? I'm
intrested in buying a rear triangle and eccentrtic from either a 2000
model XCR LE, XCR 1000, XCR 1500, or 2001 1.0, or 2.0. The eccentric
on mine was over tightened and cross threaded by the factory and can't
be removed to repair. I've only been riding it for a few months, after spending
a year rehabilitating a shattered wrist, and was just begining to feel
like i was getting a modicum of fitness back, so it sucks extra bad to have
my bike down. After 30g's in medical bills, I could barely afford this bike,
so a new frame is out of the question, and i'm not holding my breath
to see when and if Pacific will honor warranty's. By the way, i've been
a bike mechanic since 1982, so to the people that were kind enough to
offer advice in tech talk, thank you, but it aint coming apart.

How much can you spend? I have a cracked front frame and am waiting to hear about warranty. I also have a spare eccentric. Jay

Jay, thanks for the reply. Whatever you think is a fair price. Which frame
is the rear triangle from? (year and model) Can't use just an eccentric,
mine refuses to be removed. If you can, e-mail me at, warthog@charter-slo.com
Thanks
