| Pay Back's not always a b!tch.... | Rev Bubba Sep 30, 2001 2:57 PM | | About a week before September 11, I posted something about how my son and his friends saved the life of a motocycle rider who was pinned under a car.
On September 11, I went for coffee from my 68th floor WTC office at 8:30. For 15 years I always went at 9:30.
I was on the street when the first plant hit above my office.
Payback? Good Karma? God? Luck?
Your choice.... |

My answer to your question is God. Whether you're a believer in God or not, lots of us were praying for you specifically as well as the others we didn't know. Glad you're safe.

Sounds like now that things are calming down a bit for you at work and you have more time to think about what happened to you, that it's starting to nag at you a little. You might benefit from some crisis counseling. I'm sure you know that it's normal for you to have survivor guilt. It may just help you get through it easier by talking about it to a professional counselor.
No one knows "why". Personally, I don't think God had anything to do with the life and death decision making of Sept. 11th. He didn't make those a-holes fly into those buildings anymore than I did.
We shall all find the answers "someday". Until then.... go with it Rev. |
| Your message gives me chills...... | Blue 'Goose Oct 1, 2001 2:52 AM | | Who can say why? But God (or the prime mover, the all-being, whatever you want to call him/her/it) works in mysterious ways and none can say why some were spared and some were not. Glad to see you made it unscathed though. |
