Oct 1, 2001 6:58 AM | | OK so there was only one person in my Gathering, but it was still fun, dammit.
Anyway, got to Mt. Snow around 12:30 Sat. A little apprehensive walking past groups towards the shop to get my pass. Anyway, I rode a great loop (8 mi), and passed a number of riders on the way.
Maybe I passed a Passionite, but I can't be sure. I could have been spotted by my vintage, hot pink zebra striped Etto helmet.
I pulled my bike to one side to let 4 DHers go by. The first three said, "Wasup!" but the fourth was too busy smiling ear to ear.
I passed another gentleman that was looking for trail #1 so he could go up higher. I thought he was crazy after all the climbing I had just done.
I also said, "That's great beer" to a girl at 7-eleven.
Were any of these people any of you? Anyway, I had a great weekend. Rode all day Sat, and got the new record on Golden Tee at the Silo (-18) Saturday night. Had my first Guinness in a month (mmmmmm), and commenced to doing my own personal bar crawl. Met a couple guys at my camp site that had just rode mountain bikes on the road up from the MA border. Why, I do not know, but they bummed a ride off me into town because they'd run out of steam.
Sunday on the way home, stopped at Leominster SP and did another great loop there. I have to be honest, I was hoping that I'd bump into somebody, but as it turns out, I guess I'll have to wait until next time.

What a day!!
I wasn't sure who were passionate's and who weren't either.. Although I did see Narlus before the riding.. did you guys ever find a 100% down trail? We finally did on the last couple runs...
