What can I say. I was quite impressed. Seeing such a legend perform was something I won't soon forget. The whole show really hit me when he performed "Like a Rolling Stone" followed by "Forever Young". It was amazing. I was also quite impressed with how tight the band was. I will admit that alot of his lyrics were hard to understand (big suprise), but the message came through loud and clear.

MTB content...uh...what kind of bike would Bob ride?

something slow with lots of scratches!

Only really like one song of his: "Neighborhood Bully." Saw him live when he toured with the Dead and was put to sleep. I see him as an acquired taste if you did not grow up in the sixties.
Not a fan, either.FP

Fourth of July in Milwaukee. Such a good show. You know a concert's good if it can make you laugh and cry and by the time you leave you can't even speak because your voice is gone.

As for the bike, I could only see him on an old school Klunker or something like that. With a milk crate tied to the rear rack.

I saw him at Umass Amherst years ago, he was drunk as sh|t. His voice is usually a bit odd, but he slurred...and stumbled -he was a wreck..

I was pretty much in the same boat, but I was in the crowd.
I saw him at Umass Amherst...--me too...nodima

Wish I was back as an undergrad, but it's kind of nice not being poor.

Totally agree, it is also nice not come home to an apartment that is 38 degrees!!! "No ma, I can't afford heat"...Mikes westview kept me warm.

We had a situation where someone stole a bunch of burgers and dogs after a bbq that spring, which left us with a ton of buns and onions, relish, ketchup and mustard. Born were condiment sandwiches.

Lets see, crappy bike with time to ride versus nice bike, and no time.
Thank god for night rides..Locoman

I can't remember, was Mikes Westview that bar that had all you can eat (while the food lasted) for something like $3 or $5 on Friday nights?
