My letter to legislators of PA, concerning State Game Lands.Bikebreath

Use it as a guide, copy it word-for-word, just keep those cards and letters flowing into the "talking heads" of PA.

As a resident of Maryland I was greatly disappointed to learn that the Pennsylvania Game Commission, [PGC], is considering closing off the 35% of the public land it manages. I, and more than a dozen of my friends, make several trips per year to Pennsylvania to ride our mountain bikes. Often we ride on game land and it will surely reduce the amount of visits we will make to your state, if areas around such towns as Jim Thorpe, will be off limits. I hope you and your committee members will support House Bill 2181, so that the PGC will be subject to the Regulatory Review Act when making decisions that could limit access to these public lands by out of state visitors.

Bb, [ I won't sign it "Bikebreath" ]

From a post earlier today where I list 8 of the biggies in the third post, down. There too, you'll fine links to the story behind the mess at the first post and even more legislators to wear you fingers to the bone, a writin'.

Bb, [ hopes you at least send one...to Hon. Robert W. Godshall ]
Thanks Doug,it sure would be nice if this was a "HOT TOPIC".....GEO

Thanks for your efforts Doug,it seems that anytime anyone that rides is asked to "step up to the plate" as far as writing letters and attending trailwork-mountain bikers as a rule just assume that somebody will do it. You are an exception to the rule B.B.- Right now we are actually losing the battle here as far as the PGC access issue is concerned and not to many people seem to care a whole lot. Suck it up and write some letters.
