this isn't a poll so much as a question about when do you feel you have enough biking clothes?
this came up in a conversation with my s.o. about wanting some biking clothes for the holidays. she felt i have enough clothes where as i argued i could use more.my list of clothes goes something like this:
2 1/2 shorts
4-5 pairs of socks
arm and knee warmers
pair of full length tights
gloves - full finger and not
6 jerseys - 4 short sleeve, 2 long
and a vest.
this discussion pretty much started when i put bike shorts on my x-mas list. i really only wanted a couple of pairs, mostly so i don't have to rely on the 1/2 pair when the others are dirty. the half pair does have both legs but the stitching is coming undone and the black is coming out in the front so it looks almost like i just came, only wear during winter under tights or under baggy shorts.
so what does your wardrobe look like? and does it seem i have plenty of clothes?
about the same hereMtn Mike

My wardrobe looks about the same as yours i think. i of course need more as well. I think you are perfectly justified in wanting another pair of shorts, given that biking shorts need to be cycled in and out of duty. You need a new pair to take the place of the 1/2 pair. Then you can phase out one of your other 2 pair. just a thought.
You definitely need . . .Socrates

at least 2 new pairs of shorts. No, you do not have "plenty of bike clothes."

.....i was getting ready for a 24 hour race, and ended up leaving almost a weeks worth of shorts and tops at home!!!! Damn sometimes it can get crazy. I think including team gear I can go almost 2 weeks without having to wash anything!!!! Now thats sad.
