seriously though, what is the rush with cross country, you ride and you ride and bump along a few little rocks and try to ride up little things.Think about the rush is downhill or freeriding. And baggy shorts are the goods, lycra belongs in gay clubs or in aerobics videos, not on the tracks.

Whats the problem?? to ride is to ride period! ever wonder why there is so many different bikes & bike companys? because people are different!!! I like XC , but I think its great if I see bikers riding down the cul de sac. the DH sillyness your refering to is great also! TO RIDE IS TO RIDE!!

P.S. I have lycra and I DONT BELONG IN A GAY CLUB!!!!

I'll have to assume you are an expert on gay bars and aerobics videos- I couldn't tell you if lycra is appropriate there, but I know it works well for cyclists who actually use thier pedals to move the bike. It holds the plasticy parts of body armor together a lot better than hemp fiber, too.
