Finally got the surly built yesterday. After slapping on some 32mm tires and drinkin a beer. I said hell i have to ride this thing no matter what the weathers like. So i ventured into wildcat canyon for a coupla hours. in the slop those 32mm tires are sketchy. At speed on a descent theyre a total handful. I forgot what it was like to wheel drift in muck, at speed and keep balance. But it was fun, and ill do it again...soon

Peace

PS: thanks to all that helped me out with the sizing.file thing. i found that MS photo publish 2001 was included in my software bundle when i bought the puter, but never used it.

Nice ride. I love mine, mainly because it will not flex under the enormous pressure I inflict on it. Of course, the trade-off is a sore ass after quite a bit of single track, but I love it just the same.

I think I have a very similar setup, except, since I seem to be prone to wiping, I used the bar-con/aero lever combo being too nervous to go for STI.

'Cross bikes are an absolute blast in mud. Enjoy!
