| not really a good idea | LakeRaven Jan 30, 2002 2:17 PM | | Imagine, if you will, a person or persons that monitor this board, that are not friends of mountain biking, reading the type of stories that you've requested. Now I know that none of us have ever knowingly poached anything other than eggs or fish. However, on the chance that one, or more of us, may become overwrought with the urge to comply and falsify outrageous stories of ranger chases and other such tripe. I would hate to see such malarkey used against us by the folks that want more trails restricted to mountain bikes. How about stories about how and when we helped out our fellow trail users that are non-cyclists? |
| Agree 100% | Flyer Jan 31, 2002 8:38 AM | | Couldn't have said it better. I would rather hear things about how someone helped another. I know there have been times I have helped other bikers...and even hikers and horseback riders. Its bad enough to behave irresponsibly....and even worse to brag about it. |

| Adventure? | Spike Jan 30, 2002 5:15 PM | | I like to make the occasional poached egg for breakfast, but I don't consider it much of an adventure. Unless you count exploding the egg in the microwave...better to poach 'em the traditional way. |
