| Paging Washington State Riders... | Mellow Yellow Jan 30, 2002 5:46 PM | | Any of you have any knowlage about the trails in and around the Lake Easton Area? Also, I need to know where there are any non-muddy snow rides? Don't want to start riding again by hating the ride.

| ammmm, it's winter in WA and you want NON MUDDY trails??? | skiahh Jan 30, 2002 6:00 PM | | Just what drugs have you been on lately? Mud and the PNW winter go hand in hand!!
Having said that, did a Cranberry Lake look last night and it wasn't all that muddy because the snow was layered over it. I mean, I still stripped my riding pants off in the garage but they were less muddy than my typical rides. Now that it's warmed up and melting I'm guessing it's a mess in there. |

| Lake Easton | Dilly Dally Jan 30, 2002 6:19 PM | | How close is "in and around"? There's Kachess ridge and probably a couple of others that are in the local guides. I've done a number of the rides in and about Rosslyn, but that's at least 20 miles from Lake Easton.
As far as non-muddy snow rides, that's a toughie since snow around here tends to come in two flavors, muddy and way too deep to ride in. :-)

| Taneum Creek | patrick_the_green Jan 31, 2002 11:13 AM | | I haven't been to Taneum Creek lately, but it's not too far from Lake Easton, and the trails are nice and plentiful. Check out the Zilly books, that's where I got the info to go to Taneum. Can't help you with the snow rides. I'd rather be skiing on the stuff, but YMMV. PTG |
