If the video looks really dark it's most likely an issue with monitor quality/monitor settings.

I plan on doing a few more on more interesting terrain.

Not having been on a night ride for so long, I almost forgot how much fun it is. The stuff I ride at night is a bit tighter in the sides but not so many overhanging branches.
I've been thinking about getting a MiniDV rig for myself with a little bit of the settlement from my brief career as a log ramp, is there anything in particular I should look for or stay away from in a recorder? I looked on your website for info, is there anything thats changed since you put it up? |
