|   12 hour race in North Central PA | Goat
Mar 28, 2002 7:20 AM | | This June 29th will be the 2nd annual "12 Hours at Roundtop" race in Athens, PA. I missed the race last year, but am on a team for this year. I think a couple passionistas may have done the race last year, not sure though. It's a cancer (?) research benefit race organized by a friend of mine. It starts at 7:30 am. Roundtop Park is located just south of the PA/NY border just off of Route 220. Four on a team, five with a female and, of course, individual categories. I pre-rode the course last year and it seemed to have some of everything...twisty single track, fire road, powerlines, ups, downs....I believe the course will change slightly this year, details to follow. If there's any interest, email me or pipe up here on the board. I'll figure out how to get the details to those that want them. Later. |
