| AZ Spring Fling - Part 2 Update. | ScottN Apr 22, 2002 3:57 PM | | The Fling is coming!!!!!
I updated the Fling Website today - Go here - with information on where the rides will be and some links and info for camping near the ride areas.
An FYI to everyone who is coming: We're having a really really dry season here in AZ this spring. The rumors have started that the National Forests and such will be closing sooner than usual to prevent forest fires. There is a chance that the closure will occur before or during the Fling. This might only affect our ability to camp, but it also might affect our ability to ride in certain areas.
I'm doing some contingency planning for the rides, but those of you who are coming and planning to camp might not be able to, just be prepared. I'll keep everyone updated.
Also - I need to get a head count on people who are coming for this event. Please email me if you are planning on attending the Fling!

| Looking for generous AZ locals, or a driving partner. | Fast Eddy Apr 22, 2002 5:19 PM | | I've got a weekend pass from the missus, and enough cash for a plane ticket, but I probably won't come if it means renting a car and driving all-the-hell-over AZ by myself.
Anyone looking to share some expenses? I could send references (shutup BV).
Bonus Pete-points if I can ship my bike to your place beforehand. |
| I gotta a week end pass too | Mtntreker Apr 22, 2002 7:04 PM | | I had to buy my wife a new car, but now I can go.
Can't wait to ride all the down hill you we're telling us about back in Sedona. |
