May 17, 2002 7:36 AM | | The Slick Rock Trail in Moab is one of the most bizarre trails I have ever ridden. I don't know if you can tell from the video (which is really mostly of the Practice Loop) what it is like, but for me the Slick Rock Trail is one of the biggest amusement park rides there is. Steep descents, Steeper climbs and the tires hook up ALL the time. I spent more time gasping for breath at the top of the climbs than anything else I've done. And I tend to hold my breath on the descents (probably waiting to see if I'm gonna try to be a rock drill at the bottom) which makes the climbs even that much more interesting.

Video just gets me more pumped.thanks!
Doing North Rim of Grand Canyon (Rainbow Rim, East Rim, AZ Trail), Red Canyon UT, Moab, Fruita CO, Crested Butte CO (riding bud's wedding, four day party/ride). Finishing at the 21st Crested Butte Fat Tire Fest and hitting Telluride and anything still open in northern New Mexico on the way home. Leaving June 12 for 18-20 days of riding and partying!!!!!!!
