| Congrats to all the 24hr Adrenalin folks | Dude May 20, 2002 6:20 AM | | I was a spectator this weekend at a very kewl event. Congrats go out the MTBR.COM, Sabine, Dragon Racing, and just about anyone else that was participating in the event. It was my first one and even being a spectator I learned A LOT from the teams I was able to hangout with.. BTW the Ellsworth gang are some really great people. Francis get everyone on the board that ULTIMATE 24hr BIKE "PLEASE" I need a new bike.
Anyhow I got to see a lot of faces over this 24hr period and I have to say THE PASSION RUNS DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPP folks, just ask Barney, Fred, Wilma and Betty, now that was a great camp to see and hangout at.
I am hooked for life on this event.. I didn't even ride and I feel the let down the day after, spread the word folks this is an event that needs to thrive and not die. I met these dudes in the solo cat.. #11 John ? and his pit mom bud .. This is spirit folks, the rider #11 flew in from Maine and his pit mom bud had flown in from Boston. They rented a van and lived out of this thing for three and half days. This dude did something like 11 or 12 laps and man was he wiped out at the end...
Well like I said I am hooked on this the training has got to start...
GREAT JOB. |

| Yes - NiteRider was at 24 hours of Laguna Seca | VANESSA May 24, 2002 7:35 AM | | In response to some of the reviews circulating on Mountain Bike Review.com, we wanted to make everyone aware that NiteRider was at the 24 hours of Laguna Seca. NiteRider drove up from San Diego Friday fully prepared to stay up all night and charge batteries. John Haywood, Senior VP Sales and Marketing, brought along a team of three employees and our full NiteRider trailer stocked with chargers and product. Due to some contract problems with the promoter we were not allow entrance to Laguna Seca. NiteRider came to the race to support our customers, and short of actually driving our trailer into the venue, we did everything we could do to support you. NiteRider's employees rode the venue on our bikes talking to customers, and passing out free product to help racers charge their own batteries. Despite our problems with the promoter, our loyalty lies with you, our customer's, and we will do as much as possible to support you. If you have any other questions please e-mail me and I will do my best to answer your questions and concerns.
