for a superlight. I currently have a 80 mm Atom Race, but want more travel. A friend has a Psylo SL, adjustable from 80-125mm. Supergo has 'em for about $300. Is this a step down in quality? How much weight would this fork add? Are there any other options out there?

Thanks

Like the Psylo, they are adjustible (between 80 and 100 for the Float air shock and 80, 100 and 125 for the Vanilla coil), although they aren't adjustible on the fly. Speedgoat and Mtn. High Cyclery have the Vanilla R in the $360 range.

I would love to be able to tell you how awesome they ride, but I'm still waiting for Jaenette's Superlight to arrive from SC. After hearing MANY positive reviews though, I figured it was worth a try even without riding it. Weight wise, it should be close (plus or minus) to your Atom Bomb (and even lighter if you get the Float model).
The Fox Forx is an excellent upgrade....El Jester

I have 2 Vanilla 125 RLC's and they are the best performing forks that I have owned. My friends were skeptical, at first, about my ravings on this fork but have begun to see the light and are getting rid of their Marzocchi's to make the switch. I have no experience with the Float (air) model but I'm sure the performance is similar.

Many people on this board have said the "R" model in either flavor is a good performer. I have seen the Vanilla R around $345 and the Float R for $415 from http://www.mountainhighcyclery.com and http://www.jensonusa.com

Good Luck
