Did anyone get out there this weekend to work on/ride the new trail? The flyer said they were putting in a half pipe I think. I'm going to try and get out there tonight, just wondering what it was like.

I went riding there yesterday and did the big loop with my wife and some friends. Where is the half pipe? I did see a kid on a bmx bike out on the trails though...

The flyer said its on the white trail. They used an old road bed I think it said (?)...

Probably near Blackrock Rd and the bridge over the stream, I remember an old fire road there - it was overgrown though.

I spoke with some people who apparently rode the new trail but I failed to see it while out on the white loop. One person mentioned orange flags which would lead me to believe it may be by the underground phone lines area. Anyway, if anyone can give a detailed description, that would be nice.

It rained and inch plus the night before and into the meeting time on Saturday. I was planning to go help, but I lost interest with the amount of rain falling. I can't imagine anyone would show up in that mess.

Bb, [ drizzle, ok. light rain, maybe. downpour, no way. ]
The flyer said rain or shine...(nm)glueslug

30+ came out to helpEv

Actually, the rain stopped right at 9:30 and it was clear for the entire workday. We had a little over 30 people show up, and got almost the entire new section cleared. The trail looks pretty nice.

Good showing at the picnic afterwards as well. Three MD delegates who've supported mountain biking came out to receive plaques of appreciation from MORE. We'll probably schedule one more workday to get the final section completed, but it's pretty much good to go.

Can you describe where the trails are?glueslug

I rode on Sunday and was unable to find anything. Many others on the trail were unable to find it either. Seemed to be well hidden.

Thanks!

Finally rode the new trailrevdre

MORE did a great job on this one. Its still a little soft out there so be gentle. Follow the orange flags and ribbons off of the white loop near the log stacks. The halfpipe is a little tight in spots - I almost got knocked over by a group of riders on Monday. Make the trip out there and check out the new trail. Thanks MORE.
