intense team "grip" shoe ?Earthworm

well, ive switched to plats this time for good(i think). i use chuck taylors now with a superfeet insert but i really want to get some made for platform shoes. So has anyone used the "grip", does the sole rip up easily, etc?

platforms may be a little less efficient but golly-gee it sure makes it fun and really makes me work even harder going uphill on my 38#er

and i really love the puzzeled look on everyones face when they tell me i need clipless and i reply that it makes it to easy and really causes you to lose touch with pedaling feel using clipless....anyway ive used c-less for 13 yrs now, time for a change

Ive been using the "Grip" for 2 weeks now with Ringle ZuZu pedals. Just switched to platforms (on one of my bikes) after riding clipped into clipless pedals for 5 years.

The "Grips" sole is not as soft as I would have expected. Its more of a hard rubber than a soft gum like material. Could also be used as a hiking/trekking shoe. However I get a darn nice grip without ripping the sole apart.
