that was just over a month ago in, uh, somewhere in Northern Calinoia*.... :)

* Calinoia (n) - Paranoia that your favorite trail in NorCal will be

overrun by idiots after you post cool pictures of it on the web.
I thought I recognized that North Calinoia landscape.DirtKing

Lighten up on the death grip!

Try it...you'll like it.

Consider it some constructive criticism.

Steeper than it looks. nmFast Eddy

BTW: Blow me. No offense.
Are you really gay?menachite
May 31, 2002 10:19 AM
Jeez I never would have guessed...sure looks steep.

No offense taken...

And BTW...You'll save some more money on not having to buy brake pads as often. Maybe you could afford a trip to the gay bar to find a soul mate with the cash you save.

Seriously no offense given or taken.

so let me get this straight...if I post a lot here...namaSSte

then skidding is cool??? BV, you are right he should tell him himself but I ceratinly hope you aren't condoning irresponsible trail riding. From prior posts of yours, I assume not so Ill give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe its just the way your response reads.
Skidding sucks.Fast Eddy

The reason that we're not posting the location of this trail is that it is all skidded to shreds. I had Gregg remove my glowing reviews of it from the trail section after it was posted as "ride of the month" on a couple other websites (not mtbr).

I guess I'll have to try harder, but I am very conscious of trail conditions and not skidding.

Oh, and Jake, I was just fooling around buddy. Sorry.
maybe if your rear...daev

...tire had a little more tread on it you wouldn't be sliding around so much :)

Yeah, those trails are loose and difficult not to skid on - not something you can tell from the video...

btw - I edited the length to be your favorite number, Ed...

That's some major "reading between the lines".

My post had nothing to do with skidding. I was just telling manachite that "that guy in front of you" could be addressed directly.

That's all - no (s)kidding.

for a second I thought you were under some type of alien mind control. the BV we all know and love doesn't skid so I should suspected something wasn't right. Thanks for clearing it up though man. Peace!
Was there really that much skidding anyhow?Fast Eddy

I just watched the video again (I saw it when part 1 came out). I saw two or three little skids. Guilty as charged. But I and this trail have seen much worse.

Skidiot? Not guilty your honor.
A great Fri break for the cubicle bound, thanks.(NM)ronnysmoke
